CORONA VIRUS 19
I had a problem with my eye and phoned Lakeland Optical. My call was answered immediately, and the optician was able to chat to me and re-assured me about my problem. I sent a photo of my eye, and Lisa was able to tell me what the problem was. Very grateful as i'm self isolating.
I attended under the Minor Eye Scheme during lock down as I was having problems with my eye. Lisa referred me urgently and I was diagnosed with a tumour in my eye. Fortunately treatment has been successful and my sight has been saved. Very grateful to all involved!
Contact lenses at my age!
Lisa encouraged me to try contact lenses after my eye test. I had been finding that my glasses were a nuisance playing golf and in the rain. Contact lenses were a doddle ( with a bit of practice!) and I now wear the moisturising daily disposables all day!
I was seen under the new NHS MINOR EYE CONDITION SCHEME as I was concerned about my eye. Lisa examined my eye and found that my retina was detached. I was referred the same evening, and then onto Liverpool Eye Hospital for surgery.
